Part of the reason
It's taken this long
To read just one book
Is because
It is the best book
It is the most genuine book I've ever read
And because
Many of the poems make me want to cry
Not because they're all sad
Though some of them are quite so
But because it is proof
More proof
That you are who I think you are
And that is
The best friend in the world
