My mum is still of
the mindset that depression
stems from being dumb

I hate how she still
shies away from calling it
itself- depression

She thinks that if I
made good decisions I would
be rid of it all

She says it's my fault
I'm choosing stupidity
over functioning

Because she has it
in her mind that depression
is fancy failure

She's a bloody nurse
I can't believe she said that
while I'm relapsing
