'Meant for One Another' by Ravyn LaRue

When Hero said we were made for one another
I said, “Well of course; we’re friends!”
But her, being the oracle she is, saw what we would mean to one another
We work so well together
And at each other’s sides we triumph against all injustice and annoyances
And undead rotting corpses, of course
I truly feel a “better half” sort of thing
You and I are kindred spirits, of course, but you can make so much from the things I take for granted
You are smart and sweet and unstoppable!
And you help me keep from getting bitter and giving up when that fate seems all too easy
But I’ll never fall into that chasm
As long as you’re there for me, as you are
With all your kindness and passion and wisdom and love
And I love you
So profoundly
But I should hope you already know that
