I’m so uncertain about everything and you offer such a steady shoulder for my to cry my eyes out onto
And that really means a lot
Of all my friends, I think you’ve seen me cry the most
Since I’m so comfortable with you
And often what we feel is shared between us
You’re tough and resilient and I just spill my guts out all too easily
But we’ve had shared circumstances you’ve helped me cope through
And you know we triumphed against them all
You and I are triumphant together, that’s all there is to it!
Which is why I struggle to keep my head barely above the cold suffocating water

Since I know you’re always at the shore to listen
Which is, my love, more than I could ever ask for
