'Brian I' by Ravyn LaRue

You really like crushing my little soul dreams
It’s only sunscreen in my eyes, after all
You say I’m heartless to not take God into account
But Art is my God
And I’ll hold him next to me
Our hearts in our hands

And we’ll triumph

Good conquers Evil

That’s what I’ve always been taught

And that’s all I’ve ever seen

And life imitates art

Isn’t that right?

But he’s taken himself out already with his foolish enthusiasm

And you never arrived to that battlefield

But I was more than ready

My weapons were my eyes

Since they are the sharpest thing I have

But I taste this success already

Bitter Victory

You used to be a nice man once

I’ve seen the pictures

You and I share a family

And you like raping the dead for money

So be it
-
Let that haunt you on your deathbed

Just you fucking wait-
Knowing our lineage
And I know God is on my side

Since we have art at our electric fingertips
