'Comfortable' by Ravyn LaRue

Here’s what I say to obsessions.

As long as they’re harmless, they should stay.

Anything that provokes joy should be welcomed, I think.

Which is why I don’t mind my happy insanity.

I become focussed on one thing or another, and my heart stays there.

My brain says, “Oh, why don’t we move onto something productive?”

And my heart says, “Not a chance, I’m comfortable here.”

And so I’ve decided to stay until my heart decides otherwise.

Who am I to compromise my heart’s comfort

It works hard, if it wants to relax on the beach of odd fancies, I may as well let it.
