I always fall for bartenders

I can’t help it, I suppose

They butter you up to win good tips, but you end up falling in love, as an afterthought.

They make damn good drinks, and when that’s the highlight of your day-

Well, fondness of this sort is to be expected.

Just look at her, secreting charms like the sweet succubi she is.

I’m to tired to think or write coherently.

And I try to woo with writing, when I muster up bravado.

But this isn’t working, it hasn’t worked yet.

But one day I’ll win a fair maiden’s heart, at least that’s what I like to think-

Or at least she might give me a discount.

Anything is welcomed now a days.
